THE PROCESS
BellaMar Pictures is giving one talented screenwriter a chance to win BIG in our script to screen competition. The Championscript is a screenwriter’s competition where the winner gets the opportunity to collaborate with us to produce their film at ZERO COST to them.

We believe everyone has a story to tell, and we want to give you the chance to make it a reality! Follow the steps below to enter:

1. Write a script adhering to the guidelines below
2. Submit it here during the submission period Aug 28th - Sept 10th
3. Follow @bellamarpictures on Instagram
4. Repost The Championscript flyer on your story or page and tag @bellamarpictures.

After the Submission deadline closes on Sunday September 10th 11:59pm EST, our panel of judges will be given three (3) weeks to review the scripts.
Following the judges review, we will announce the TOP 5 FINALIST who will compete in our viewers choice competition to determine who has
The Championscript!

The viewers choice competition will be held on our instagram page @bellamarpictures. All finalist will be required to record a brief on camera introduction and synopsis of their script. The individual videos will then be posted on our Instagram page to be voted on by the public audience and which ever story gets the most likes, wins.
​
We highly encourage finalist to promote themselves to maximize their engagement on their post because the script the people want to see, is the script the people will get!

CONTEST RULES

Script can be NO longer than seven (7) pages total

Script MUST be written in Industry Standard Format

Script must be WITHOUT grammatical errors and typos

Drama scenes may NOT exceed more than two (2) characters

NO minors or animals can be involved

Discriminatory content will NOT be tolerated

NO nudity or explicit content

Scriptwriter must reside in the state of Georgia

Our experienced judges were handpicked to make sure the best review your script. The Founders of BellaMar Pictures Inc will also act as judges for the competition

When will I be able to submit my script?Submission opens Monday August 28, 2023 at 12:00am EST and closes Sunday September 10, 2023 at 11:59pm EST.

Will the winner REALLY get a FREE production?YES the winner of the competition will get full video production service for their shoot. We will assist the winner with the casting, shoot day execution, and post production editing of the project. *Disclaimer* However, due to the fact that it is a free production we CANNOT guarantee the completion of the project if any unfortunate occurrences take place throughout the process. We will discuss this in more detail once the winner is chosen.

When will production start if I win the Competition?At least one (1) month after the winner is chosen

Can I add to the pay for additional things that are out of scope for the FREE film?Absolutely! If you have any talent or locations you would like to invest in, you can at your own discretion. Communicate your vision with the BellaMar team.

Do you have your own crew and equipment?Yes we have our own crew and equipment database.

Do the 2nd or 3rd place winners get anything?Yes! The runner up will receive 10% off their quote if they decide to work with us. 3rd place will get a 5% discount.
